About Eibach

"The Will to Win" is a good way of describing eibach's product philosophy. The main aspect of Eibach Suspension Components is a noticeable improvement to the driving characteristics - the basis for being a winner - brought to you directly from Motorsport. Of secondary importance is the enhanced sporty look bestowed on your vehicle by our high-performance products. This is where they stand out from other manufacturers: they only lower the vehicle's centre of gravity as far as is technically practical. Aston Martin DB9 Racer with Eibach Suspension

You won't find extreme lowering from Eibach. Performance and handling are their priorities.

All Eibach products are developed, manufactured and tested by Eibach themselves. This is the only way they can fulfil their high demands.

For years, Eibach's clientele have included almost all the teams from the worlds of Formula 1, the Rally World Championship, NASCAR, CART and the Touring Car World Championship.

What makes Eibach springs so good?

Eibach test and tune every single spring application that they list. Cheaper spring manufacturers will state that a spring is suitable for a particular car simply because it will fit in to the spring cups. There's much more to it than that. Eibach will adjust the stiffness to suite each and every cars axle weight and particular requirements. Endless testing on the track results in a kit that will optimise handling characteristics and greatly improve driving pleasure without giving a harsh ride.

Why choose Eibach coil-overs?

Now using the very same Eibach technology used in Formula 1 race cars, you can get each corner of your vehicle looking and performing at its very best. Eibach´s exciting new PRO-STREET-S, stainless steel-bodied coil-over spring/damper packages allow serious drivers the ability to quickly adjust the ride height and corner weight of each individual wheel, giving them the ultimate in fl exibility for precise street and track tuning.
Eibach ERD Racing Dampers and ERS Racing Springs are used in top-level racing series all over the world.
We have used this experience, gained from many decades at the highest levels of International Motorsport, including Formula 1, DTM, NASCAR, CART, IRL, Super Touring Car and the World Rally Championship, to put these technological masterpieces into the hands of performance enthusiasts everywhere.

The science of lowering

Lowering a car lowers its centre of gravity. The amount of body roll (the amount a car leans over at an angle) that a car is subject to in hard cornering is directly proportional to the height of the centre of gravity from the road surface. So, if you reduce the height, you reduce the body roll. Reduced body roll keeps the tyres square on the road and improves grip and this in-turn improves cornering speeds. Take a look at a Formula one car. The speeds they corner at are phenomenal, but you'll hardly see anybody roll what so ever. That's because of a combination of an extremely low centre of gravity and stiff springs.

What does an anti-roll bar do?

Most cars have anti-roll bars fitted from the factory as standard. They connect the left and right side of the vehicles suspension to resist independent suspension travel. The result is less body roll and flatter cornering. It is the same effect as you would experience when stiffer springs are fitted, but without the associated hard ride.

Why fit a sports anti-roll bar?

Eibach anti roll bars are engineered to have a greater torsional stiffness. Taking into account the vehicles roll axis Eibach have designed this sports anti roll bar kit to greatly reduce body roll in hard cornering, inspiring driver confidence and improving grip.

Unlike fitting lowering springs anti-roll bars do not affect the vehicles ride height. They can be fitted with or without other suspension modifications; like lowering springs & dampers.

Why fit Eibach Pro-Dampers with Eibach springs?

Eibach developed Pro-Dampers specifically to complement the unique characteristics of Eibach Pro-Kit and Sportline springs, taking full advantage of the increased spring rate and lower centre of gravity. The result is enhanced performance throughout the entire working range of the suspension.

Eibach engineers tuned Pro-Damper damping characteristics to achieve maximum performance, but without excessive stiffness or ride harshness.
This precise tuning takes time and suspension expertise-a commitment Eibach undertakes to produce a damper worthy of the Eibach name.
Eibach Pro-Dampers-the ultimate in shock absorber tuning and technology.

Fitting Eibach Pro-Dampers with standard springs

Eibach's Pro-Dampers have a shorter body and stroke than standard dampers are therefore ideally suited to shorter springs. Although they can be used with standard springs, such use is not covered by warranty.
