This kit contains…
Each kit contains a 250ml tin of heat resistant paint, a 500ml aerosol can of brake cleaner (very important for a good finish) a paint brush and a detailed guide on how to paint your brake calipers. This guide is a real help for achieving a professional looking job and is only available when you buy the Etech caliper paint from Rude Racing.

How to use
No mixing of paint and hardener is required with this kit. We’ve tried this product and found that each kit contains plenty of paint – probably enough to take care of 6-8 calipers or 4-6 brake drums! The paint goes on nice and smooth and dries to a tough gloss finish. It’s important to use the cleaner – if applied correctly this stuff will last years!

TOP TIP
Use a wire brush to work the cleaner in. The cleaner you can get the caliper - the better the paint will stick.

PLEASE NOTE:  This item cannot be shipped outside UK Mainland as aerosol cans are not allowed to be sent by air mail and we have also experienced some customs issues with certain countries.

    Delivery Charges

    Delivery charges depend on size, weight and destination. UK mainland delivery charges are automatically calculated at the checkout for you to review before you complete your purchase. All charges include packing, insurance and VAT where applicable.

    Many items have FREE delivery in mainland UK.

    For delivery outside of mainland UK, please contact us first to confirm the delivery charge, alternatively you can place your order and we will contact you to confirm the delivery cost and you will have the option to cancel your order at this stage if you wish.

    Despatch 

    How long will delivery take?

    Most orders received before 3pm Mon-Fri excluding weekends and public holidays are processed the same day for delivery the next working day subject to availability of the stock. Orders received after 3pm or at busy times are usually processed the next working day. 

    To allow for discrepancies we ask you to allow up to three working days for courier deliveries and up to five working days for deliveries by Royal Mail 1st Class.

    Estimated delivery times are displayed under the product description for each individual product and we make every effort to deliver within the stipulated times. If we are aware of any problems we will contact you immediately by telephone or email. If you need an item urgently please contact us before placing your order.

    We always endeavour to meet the times given, however sometimes we experience difficulties beyond our control and as such we cannot accept liability for any loss or damage suffered by you due to any delay in delivery. 

    Where can we deliver to?

    We can deliver anywhere in the UK and to most worldwide destinations.

    If ordering on our website, just select your country of destination from the drop-down menu during the check-out procedure and it will automatically calculate the shipping charge. Please note that under exceptional circumstances we may not be able to deliver to your chosen country for the price quoted online and on these occasions we will contact you by phone or email.

    Can goods be delivered to an alternative address?

    Normally all orders are despatched to the billing address of the card used to pay with, or the registered address of your PayPal account. This is in the interest of your card security and to avoid fraudulent use of your card. If paying by bank transfer, we can ship to any address of your choice.

    We can sometimes despatch to an address other than the billing address e.g. your work address etc, but this usually involves additional security checks and can delay the processing of your order a little, please contact us if you need this facility. We strongly recommend that goods are sent to the registered address wherever possible.

    What happens if nobody is at home when the delivery arrives?

    Usually your postman or the delivery driver will leave a card saying that he has made an attempt to deliver. You can then call your local depot (the telephone number should appear on the card) and arrange a time for a second attempt or alternatively collect from the local depot yourself.

    Can I collect goods in person?

    You can order and pay for any items in advance online or by email or phone and then collect in person from our warehouse. We will contact you to let you know when your order ready for collection.

    What about any shortages or transit damage?

    You must notify us immediately of any shortages or damage within five working days. We regret that beyond this period we may not be able to process your claim.

    Returns policy

    All our goods are sold with the full manufacturers' warranty, usually 12mths to 24mths. We even offer special LIFETIME warranties on selected products, look out for these. 

    We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase from us, but understand that sometimes you may need to return a product. You can return an item for any reason for a refund, credit or replacement, subject to the following conditions:-

    • Items must be returned to us within 14 days of receipt.
    • Items must be received back in a resalable condition, unused and in their original condition, complete with the original packaging in good condition (We reserve the right to levy a charge to replace product packaging which is damaged or defaced).
    • In the case of brake parts, the packaging seal must not be broken as we cannot accept returns of opened brake parts due to safety regulations.
    • We cannot accept return of any items which have been specially ordered for you, or manufactured to your specification.
    • Items must be returned carriage paid. Please note it is your responsibility to ensure the item is delivered to us and that we cannot accept responsibility for returned parcels which are undelivered or damaged. Please retain your proof of postage etc as you may require it in the event of a claim with your carrier.

    You must obtain a "Returns Number" from us before returning any goods. Please contact us for this. All returns must include the senders name, address, invoice number and reason for return.

    Items returned will be subject to a restocking charge of not less than 10%, unless the item was faulty or supplied incorrectly by us.

    We are not responsible for any labour charges incurred in fitment or removal of any items either faulty or incorrectly supplied and cannot accept any claims for any other consequential losses. This does not affect your statutory rights.
